From 10 to 13 July, the seventh annual INNOPROM international industrial exhibition was held in Ekaterinburg. This great event brought together more than 600 of the largest industrial companies from approximately 20 countries. This year, President of Russia Vladimir Putin's attendance marked the exhibition's far-ranging prestige and importance. He became acquainted with market news and product samples presented at stands from the Sverdlovsk Oblast, the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, and Japan, the partner country of INNOPROM-2017.
AsstrA exhibited at INNOPROM once again. The event has established itself as an excellent venue to spread the word about the company's services, meet new clients, and do business with partners. As Svetlana Palkina, a Senior Sales Specialist in the Strategic Clients Department in Ekaterinburg, described, "This year the exhibition was well-organized and drew many international guests and visitors. Even though the exhibition is not purely focused on logistics, out stand generated significant interest." During the event, AsstrA representatives built relationships with Japanese companies, had fruitful meetings with new and existing customers, and held talks with delegates from Iran, China, and Morocco.
A striking, eco-themed design and a warm, welcoming spirit attracted many visitors to AsstrA's stand. "Representatives of the Iranian delegation, who visited us several times, were so impressed with the atmosphere at our stand that they wanted to start working together on the spot," says Alla Timofeeva, AsstrA Sales Specialist.
INNOPROM lived up to its reputation as one of the most important exhibition venues in the industrial and manufacturing sectors. Participation in events of this type and scale contributes to AsstrA's ongoing success in building long-term relationships with clients and establishing new contacts. AsstrA is already planning to participate in next year's INNOPROM. According to Deputy Director of Sales Pavlos Paterakis, it will be particularly important that the multinational's top executives be actively involved in the exhibition's programs and discuss strategic issues with other key market players.
