The 5th TransPoland Translogistica International Transport & Logistics Exhibition was held from the 8th - 10th of November in Warsaw. This trade fair is one of the key international events in the TSL industry taking place in Central and Eastern Europe aimed at professionals from the major transport sectors. It is estimated that the 5th edition of TransPoland drew around 6,000 visitors. According to organizers, it was an extremely successful meeting.
The exhibition's main themes centered around intermodal freight as well as road, rail, sea and air transport. Logistics and forwarding issues were also covered. Visitors walking around the stands had the opportunity to meet representatives of intermodal transport companies, ports and transshipment terminals, and truck manufacturers. The wide range of subjects attracted a large group of exhibitors to the event, which was held in Warsaw's EXPO XXI center.
This year, international transportation and logistics provider AsstrA-Associated Traffic AG had a stand at TransPoland Translogistica for the first time. Mr Andrzej Iwanow-Kołakowski, EU Regional Director at AsstrA, shares his impressions of this event: “This was the first time AsstrA exhibited at TransPoland. Previously, we had been visiting the fair trade as a guest. We are glad to have been there. This is an interesting international event aimed at a wide audience from many industries, not just logistics. We were pleasantly surprised by the impressive number of people who visited our stand. AsstrA attracted not only customers and partners, but also foreign companies interested in establishing cooperation. The remarkable number of new contacts as well as our clearly growing brand recognition in the industry were both great successes. We will certainly consider exhibiting at TransPoland again in the future."
AsstrA attracted attention not only from importers and exporters but also manufacturers and distributors looking for alternative transport technology and service solutions. Transport rolling stock owners and many other industry representatives showed interest in our company as well.
According to Mrs Natalia Eremenco, Asstra Sales & Marketing Director: "TransPoland was good for us. Its relatively small size could be considered both a disadvantage and an advantage. We had many interesting conversations and promising meetings. Visitors liked our stand, especially its on-brand design. TransPoland will definitely be at the top of our consideration list when it comes to exhibiting at future trade shows."
At TransPoland Translogistica, AsstrA had the opportunity to build awareness of the company in Central and Eastern Europe and to make new connections with representatives of the TSL industry. Ms Irina Zhukova, Key Account Manager at AsstrA, notes: "AsstrA's stand at TransPoland signified an open invitation to cooperate with customers, carriers and partners. Its attractive styling caught their interest and visually said: 'We are here for you, welcome.' It was a great chance to meet with our target group in person, and just a few days after the trade fair we received clear, excellent feedback from them.”
