On November 29th, a ceremony awarding top performers in the trucking industry was organized by the Trucks and Roads business information portal. AsstrA received a certificate in recognition of the company's nomination for the Specialized Automotive Transportation Company of the Year award.
The ceremony was organized with support from the Intersectoral Expert Council on the Development of Road Freight and the Road Sector and the Russian Ministry of Transport.
The high-profile ceremony was held at the Ritz-Carlton in Moscow. Honored guests at the ceremony included Russian motor industry leaders, Russian Ministry of Transport First Deputy Eugene Dietrich, Highway Transportation Agency CEO Alex Dual, Federal Road Agency Deputy Head Dmitry Pronchatov, and Federal Transport Supervision Service Deputy Head Aslanbek Ahohite.
Prizes were awarded in seven categories: Commercial Truck Car Carrier, Private Motor Freight Carrier, Industry Logistics Partner, Online Service Provider, Specialized Automotive Transportation, International Road Carrier, and Road Haulage Service Program. 40 companies competed for the awards in these categories. All contenders were judged according to the efficiency of their operations and their overall contribution to the development of the road freght transport and logistics market.
The winners in each category were determined by a secret ballot. The jury was composed of 25 industry experts including representatives of logistics operators, freight forwarding associations, cargo owners, research institutes, and the trade press.
"Receiving a certificate confirming our nomination for the Specialized Automotive Transportation Company of the Year award was very nice. It is an additional incentive to improve and strive for even better results," said Sergey Deyneko, Deputy Technical Director of multinational AsstrA-Associated Traffic AG.
