About project: This project involved transporting more than 100 oversized modules from the Philippines to Belgium via multimodal logistics. The operation presented significant engineering and operational challenges, including ensuring compliance with international transport regulations and environmental standards. Due to the modules' dimensions, custom lifting and securing systems, adapted port operations, and detailed stowage plans were necessary to ensure structural stability during ocean transit. These measures were essential to protect the cargo and maintain the construction schedule of an ethane cracker plant with a nameplate capacity of 1,450 kilotons of ethylene per year.
AsstrA scope: chartering vessel, loading, lifting all equipment, securing cargoes to decks using welded sea-fasteners, applying additional lashings where needed on three levels, safe unloading
