About project: The out-of-gauge (OOG) and heavy cargo for the Navoi 3 Combined Cycle Power Plant Project was transported from China to Uzbekistan via Kazakhstan. This complex logistics operation was the heaviest piece of equipment ever transported along this specific corridor. The transportation of cargo was carried out using ground transport on modular trailers. The 290-ton transformer was moved on 28 axles trailers, while the 168.8-ton cargo was transported on 20 axles, with all axles being rotary.

AsstrA scope: The operation involved multiple stages of handling, including loading, reloading, improving infrastructure & bridges on the route and strict coordination at international borders. Two bridges were reinforced to accommodate the heavy load, which was a critical aspect of the transport process.
