About project: The core shipment included a 94.42-meter-long, 827-ton wash tower accompanied by three deaerator storage tanks and three deaerator heads. Upon arriving in Gijón, Spain, the tower was transferred from SPMTs to an ocean vessel via onboard cranes. The vessel then sailed to Gdańsk, Poland, where the cargo was discharged directly onto three river barges. Due to tight scheduling constraints, all discharge operations were completed within one day to avoid delays to the vessel.
AsstrA scope: loading, unloading, scheduling, managing the movement of the wash tower, and associated heavy lift cargo
IPL team: IPL Spain Division, IPL UK Division and IPL Poland Division
