From October 16-17, the Top Transport Europe expo was held on the French Riviera. For the 28th time, the event brought together transport and logistics industry professionals and their customers and partners in Marseille’s Faro Castle. This year, the AsstrA-Associated Traffic AG corporate group participated in the event for the third time.
Top Transport Europe is an industry event organized around short, targeted B2B meetings. Over two days of 30-minute discussions it is possible for service providers to meet many existing and potential clients and partners.
Natalia Iwanowa-Kolakowska, Deputy Director of EU Region Countries and France Country Manager at AsstrA, shares her impressions:
“At previous editions of Top Transport Europe, participants received a schedule of confirmed meetings on the morning of the first day. In 2019, the organizers improved the format by sending participants’ meeting schedules further in advance. This allowed us to thoroughly prepare for meetings with specific clients and partners. Scheduled free time was used for trainings, networking, and short unplanned meetings.”
Top Transport Europe is not only a business platform for establishing new contacts but also an educational platform. The organizers prepared an extensive program of lectures and workshops for participants. Current transport and logistics sector issues discussed included providing cargo security, IT solutions, blockchain technology, ways to reduce harmful vehicle emissions, and greening deliveries.
“Over the course of the event, transport and logistics companies and customers participated in carefully planned, targeted B2B meetings. The talks helped develop partnerships and make new connections. Top Transport Europe is the main industry event in France. The exhibition brings together key players in the French and European transport and logistics markets.
“At Top Transport, the AsstrA booth was located in the center of the exhibition hall. Our vivid corporate colors and identity highlighted the corporate group’s stand and attracted the attention of visitors. Thanks to the meetings, the AsstrA team established new contacts and strengthened ties with existing partners and customers,” summarizes Alena Novik, Sales Specialist at AsstrA.
