To implement this strategy, transport and logistics companies Neptune Logistics and AsstrA-Associated Traffic AG have concluded a Memorandum of Understanding in China during CILF 2019, the 14th Shenzhen International Logistics and Transport Exhibition. The parties officially declared their shared intention to actively develop cooperation in the field of logistics and to run joint projects in other areas. The Memorandum focuses on creating favorable conditions for the organization of cargo transportation. It is intended to support strong relations and long-term cooperation between the two enterprises. The companies agreed to build a dialogue based on strategic partnerships.

In addition, the Memorandum calls for the companies to work on an "open book" basis with profits and losses distributed in equal shares. Accordingly, Neptune Logistics and AsstrA will offer special pricing conditions to each other.

"Signing this Memorandum of Understanding with Neptune Logistics is a new and important step towards strengthening partnerships between our companies. The end goal of the joint program is to develop a network of train routes for both companies' clients. This route network will cover Kazakhstan, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Poland, and other EU countries," says Vyacheslav Gural, Asian Countries Regional Director at AsstrA.

 

 

 

As noted in the Memorandum, the parties will support their mutual interests in relations between themselves and third parties.
