In January 2020, the AsstrA-Associated Traffic AG international corporate group entered into a partnership agreement with the Russian Export Center (REC). AsstrA's Russian representative office is now an accredited REC logistics and customs partner.
The Russian Export Center provides comprehensive support to export-oriented businesses and advises them on both financial and non-financial issues. Financial advisory covers investments, insurance, loans, and financial guarantees. Non-financial advisory covers partner searches and business acceleration.
To be accredited, potential REC partners must fulfill strict requirements and undergo comprehensive vetting. AsstrA first applied to become an accredited partner in 2018 At that time, however, the REC was not accepting new partners and did not review the application. AsstrA applied again in April 2019 and, after multiple stages of verification over 8 months, successfully met all requirements.
For exporters, the REC guarantees the reliability and professionalism its partners. AsstrA clients therefore receive export logistics and customs services fully meeting REC standards.
"Exporters bringing new products to a market face multiple challenges requiring specific skill sets and knowledge to overcome. Acquiring this know-how through trial and error can be costly and time-consuming. By outsourcing functions like logistics to trusted partners, exporters can hit the ground running and focus on their core competencies," explains Tatyana Goncharenko, Director of AsstrA Russia. "AsstrA stands ready to provide our customers with comprehensive logistics solutions and share the deep experience we have gained over many years in the industry.”
