Many different types of textiles are in global production today. Various fabrics are used for clothes, home furnishings, advertisements, and other decorative elements. The main textile exporters to the CIS are China, Southern and Southeast Asian countries, as well as Belarus, Germany, and Uzbekistan.
In the autumn of 2021, AsstrA teams in Turkey and Kazakhstan completed two air shipments of textiles for a well-known global producer and supplier of concentrates, syrups and soft drinks.
"The cargo, which consisted of work clothes for the company’s production staff in Kazakhstan, weighed 5 tons in total. 332 kg were delivered to Nur-Sultan, and 4,512 kg were shipped to Almaty. The provided services were attractive to the customer in terms of price, quality, and scheduling. Both deliveries were made from Istanbul to their respective destinations within three days,” shares Aiganym Baimagambetova, Sales Specialist at AsstrA Almaty.
"The dynamic textile industry requires well structured transport and logistics systems to handle increasing cargo flows. To minimize any potential risks during transport, the AsstrA Air Cargo Division uses global insurance policies and ensures that all necessary certificates are obtained. As a member of the International Air Transport Association (IATA), AsstrA Turkey offers customers competitive rates, prompt deliveries, and maximum cargo safety," sums up Abdullah Karabulut, Freight Forwarder at AsstrA Turkey.
Air transport organization is one of AsstrA's core service offerings. The company has all the necessary capabilities for transporting permissible cargo on favorable terms. Customers typically choose air transport for time sensitive deliveries that must arrive as soon as possible or for goods requiring highly secure storage.
