AsstrA Türkiye Joins WCA Inter Global

In March 2022, the Türkish branch of AsstrA Group joined the WCA Inter Global network. WCA Inter Global is a popular general cargo network operated by WCAworld, an organization of independent freight forwarders. The organization consists of 4,935 member offices in 164 countries and 644 cities. WCA Inter Global provides access to the services of local and regional freight forwarders from all over the world.

As AsstrA Istanbul joins WCA, the department team will reach out to many global freight forwarders, strengthen relationships with existing agents, and grow shipping volumes. WCA Inter Global member offices must meet stringent community standards for experience, professionalism, and financial strength. AsstrA’s Türkish office meets the strict criteria set by WCAworld for service quality and reliability. Network members are constantly monitored to ensure that standards are continuously maintained," comments Fatma Kara, Head of theAsstrA Türkiye Container Division.

The WCA committee invites only experienced, tried and trusted companies to join the network. To qualify, candidates must pass an audit addressing insurance, properly documented registrations, and workflow organization.

In April 2021, our office in Poland was our first site to join the network and has been successfully cooperating with WCA agents for a year. On June 7-10, AsstrA will join the WCAworld 2022 conference, which will be held for the first time in Dublin, Ireland. The event is open to members of the WCAworld networks and will host a large number of delegates.
