In response to market demand for industrial project logistics solutions covering the Iberian Peninsula, AsstrA is opening a new branch in Spain. AsstrA Forwarding Spain S.L. will be providing customers with a full range of road, ocean, air and rail freight solutions, dedicated project logistics services, and downstream support for the oil and gas sector as well as engineering, procurement, and construction contracting industry.
“Our main Spanish office will be in Valencia with additional plans for office in Madrid providing project logistics and freight management services. Our team in Valencia will support our current FCL, air freight, FTL, and express cargo business. The team in Madrid, under the lead of the AsstrA Industrial Project Logistics Division, will focus on solutions for customers from the main stream industrial project sector which includes the engineering, procurement, and construction contracting industry. Madrid will specialize in handling projects and project type cargoes encompassing out-of-gauge cargo, organizing heavy-lift and super-heavy-lift shipments, logistics studies and providing Clients with engineering-related support and services,” says Volker Schoeffel, Branch Manager at AsstrA Forwarding Spain.
AsstrA’s new Spanish branch will serve Clients globally including South America, North America, Asia, Eastern Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.
