Cargo: Plant construction materials and equipment

Transport route: China to Fotadrevo, Madagascar

Delivery volume: 107 pcs (including 4 SOC) with a total weight of 927382 kg / 5599.72 cbm. The largest pieces were 2 mobile cranes at 43100 kg each.

About the project:
The Molo graphite project in Fotadrevo, Madagascar, ranks as one of the largest-known and highest quality flake graphite deposits in the world.

Covering an area of 62.5 hectares, the site is in the Tulear region of south-western Madagascar. It is located 220 km by road from the port city of Ehoala, previously known as Fort Dauphin. The Port of Ehoala is a modern deep-water port built with funds from the World Bank and Rio Tinto in 2009.

Ehoala is the port of choice for the arrival of Molo project cargo. Poor road infrastructure prevents the use of the port at Toliara, which is closer to the mine site.
