AsstrA at the Starting Line

On November 3, 2024, the Samarkand Marathon took place in Samarkand, an international event that brought together running enthusiasts from all over the world. Among the participants was Artur Danilov, the Country Sales Manager for AsstrA in Uzbekistan. Artur successfully completed the 21.1 km race in an impressive time of 2 hours and 6 minutes. 

"The Samarkand Marathon is more than just a sporting event; it's an opportunity to experience the spirit of unity and inspiration. Samarkand is a truly remarkable place where history intertwines with the present, and the marathon provided unforgettable emotions and a surge of energy. For me, it’s also a chance to demonstrate that activity and a healthy lifestyle are key values of AsstrA," said Artur Danilov. 

The marathon drew around 4,000 participants and offered races suitable for all fitness levels: 42.2 km, 21.1 km, 10 km, 5 km, and children’s races. In addition to the sporting events, the marathon included educational and cultural programs that showcased the city’s rich history and traditions.
