Kazakhstan Restricted Non-Eurasian Economic Union Trailers

03.07.2024

Dear clients and partners,

We would like to inform you about the changes in Kazakhstan's customs policy that will come into effect from July 1, 2024.

The new rules restrict the importation of trailers registered outside the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). This means that trailers with license plates of countries outside the EAEU, including European Union countries, will now not be able to transit through the territory of Kazakhstan.

The EAEU, especially Kazakhstan, is becoming a key player in transportation routes between China, Europe and Central Asia. These changes may affect current logistics processes.

AsstrA is ready to provide you with all necessary support and consulting on possible customization of your logistic schemes. Please, contact AsstrA experts for any questions.

Best regards,

AsstrA team
