AsstrA has once again been awarded the EcoVadis Silver Medal for its achievements in sustainable development. This success reaffirms the company's commitment to sustainability principles and demonstrates our dedication to continuous improvement and innovation in this area. This year, AsstrA improved its score by 7 points compared to last year, placing it in the top 15% of transportation and logistics companies assessed by EcoVadis in the industry. EcoVadis evaluations are utilized by globally recognized companies, including market leaders in logistics, highlighting the significance of this ranking.
“After two months of active engagement with the EcoVadis platform and five open cases with complaints, we managed to achieve a review that considered ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certificates, which were initially excluded from the assessment. EcoVadis typically does not include additional documents after the assessment is completed; however, in this case, they made an exception, allowing us to raise our overall score to 68! The Silver Medal reflects our hard work across all ESG areas, including CO2 and GRI”, said Dmitri Krõlov, Sustainable Development Manager, AsstrA.
“Our result indicates a high degree of compliance with global sustainability requirements. Year after year, we improve as a company and enhance our performance to demonstrate to our partners that we are not only logistics professionals but also care about the world and society around us. The EcoVadis assessment is vital for our clients and can sometimes be a decisive factor in choosing AsstrA as a logistics partner. In 2024 alone, we shared our questionnaire with 28 partners. The EcoVadis Silver Medal recognizes not only the efforts of our employees but also AsstrA's commitment to positive changes that have already occurred within our company”, added Anna Budaj, Quality Specialist, AsstrA.
