AsstrA's team of experts successfully organized the delivery of an 89-ton rotor for a new power plant in Uzbekistan. The project required detailed planning and coordination at every stage, as the route involved multimodal transportation through several countries.
Route and logistics:
- Sea transportation: The rotor was shipped from the port of Ibaraki, Japan, to the port of Tianjin, China.
- Road transportation: After arrival in China, the shipment was cleared by customs and transported by road to the Khorgos (China-Kazakhstan) border, where it was reloaded.
- Final stage: After crossing the border, the cargo continued its journey through Kazakhstan and was successfully delivered to the final destination—Talimardjan, Uzbekistan.
The total length of the route amounted to 5,250 km. The project also involved the transportation of 1,500 cubic meters of oversized and standard cargo, requiring precision in the organization of logistics.
“Project transportation requires maximum precision and coordination. The coordinated work of our teams in Korea and China ensured that the cargo was fully secured and delivered on time,” said Colin Bagwell, Team Leader of AsstrA IPL North America Division.
“The transportation of large equipment requires careful consideration at every stage. By optimizing our processes, we have ensured not only timely but also safe transportation, confirming the high level of our expertise,” emphasized Cem Yilmaz, Team Leader of AsstrA IPL Turkey Division.
