In spring 2025, the Swiss group of companies AsstrA-Associated Traffic AG completed the urgent transportation of a high-value filter cake worth nearly $3 million. The cargo, originating from a metallurgical plant in Poland, arrived in the United Kingdom within two days. AsstrA’s experts acted promptly and cohesively, ensuring a smooth delivery for a new client.

Filter cake is a mixture of platinum, palladium, and rhodium that forms during catalyst and industrial waste processing. It concentrates rare and valuable metals, which are then extracted and reused – making the shipment highly valuable.

AsstrA’s experts quickly prepared an offer and received confirmation from the client of their readiness for shipment on the same day. The team agreed on the rate with the carrier and began waiting for the loading day.
