The transport and logistics company AsstrA-Associated Traffic AG continues to expand its expertise in the transportation of heavy cargo that requires a special approach.

One example of such shipments is a series of successful transports of four 20-foot containers (20’GP) from China to Poland.

In November 2025, AsstrA experts ensured the delivery of quartz slabs used in the production of kitchen and furniture countertops. This type of product is characterized by high density and significant weight, which makes choosing the right type of container crucial. For transporting heavy goods, 20-foot containers are the optimal solution.

On the China–Poland route, 20-foot containers are only sent by rail in pairs. This is due to requirements for even weight distribution.
