In today’s business world, it often seems like only new, large, or unusual products or services get attention. In the logistics field, that means we tend to hear about oversized cargo, intercontinental routes, or express delivery of easily resellable goods. However, there are projects where a small thing like a helping hand can make a big difference.
International logistics provider AsstrA-Associated Traffic AG has proved once again that less means more, even in the transportation field.
“AsstrA recently received a request to transport books from the City Library of Gdynia, Poland, to Belarus. In cooperation with the Museum of Emigration, the Polish library was donating part of its book collection to schools in and around Grodno, Belarus. The library was looking for companies that could transport goods along this route and would like to help children,” says Anastasiya Tkachuk, AsstrA Express Delivery Specialist.
The AsstrA team set to work without hesitation. The logistics provider meets the needs of Customers regardless of the volume of their goods or where they need to be delivered. Especially when small shipments are big deals.
“The loading was organized at elementary school No. 47 in Gdynia, Poland. The goods were delivered by minibus to an elementary school in Kuznica, Poland, and onward by diplomatic mail to Belarus. A dedicated vehicle was provided for the transportation of the books, which were packed in 15 boxes of 1 m3 weighing 200 kg each. This was a charitable shipment. We are glad that we participated and could help children learn,” says Anastasiya Tkachuk.
“AsstrA-Associated Traffic AG is an expert in door-to-door deliveries between the European Union and Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, and other CIS countries. We have thousands of satisfied Customers to prove this expertise. We appreciate their trust!” says Karol Baranczuk, AsstrA Deputy COO for Partial Loads and Air Transportation.
