In industrial equipment transportation projects, strict adherence to schedules, compliance with carrier requirements and seamless coordination across all stages of delivery are crucial success factors.

This was demonstrated in a project successfully delivered by the AsstrA team, which organized the transportation of turbine components from Vietnam to Uzbekistan.

A total of 17 pallets of equipment were prepared for shipment in Vietnam. The transportation was executed as a multimodal solution, including pickup from the shipper, air freight via Seoul, and final-mile road delivery to the consignee in Uzbekistan.

A key challenge of the project was the timely dispatch of the cargo ahead of an extended public holiday period at the shipper’s side. This required precise planning and close coordination among all participants involved in the logistics chain.

Special attention was given to compliance with the airline’s cargo loading and stowage requirements. AsstrA experts developed a safe loading scheme and coordinated it with both the shipper and the airline, taking into account the technical characteristics of the equipment and all applicable regulations. This ensured successful cargo acceptance and adherence to the planned shipping schedule.

“In this project, the prompt alignment with airline requirements and timely adjustment of the cargo loading scheme were crucial. This enabled us to meet the planned deadlines and ensure stable execution of the shipment,” says Nazerke Kaiym, Air Forwarder.

Following the successful completion of the shipment, the client entrusted AsstrA with a new project on the Switzerland – Uzbekistan route, further strengthening the long-term partnership and cooperation on upcoming deliveries.
