Route: Boppard (Germany) – Ust-Kamenogorsk (Kazakhstan)
Load: BOMAG BW 226 DI-5 ground vibroroller
Cargo weight: 25.3 tons
Special features of the project:
The tests had been planned and approved by the transportation authorities in advance, so strict adherence to delivery times was a priority. Also, one of the customer’s most important requirements was that the equipment be in perfect working condition upon delivery so that proper assessment could take place before purchasing more of the models for further road construction. The AsstrA experts’ main priority therefore was the on-time delivery of perfectly operational equipment. They were completely successful.
On the European part of the route from Germany to Belarus, the cargo was transported on a low-bed road. In Brest, Belarus, AsstrA representatives oversaw the overhead loading of the ground vibroroller onto a railway platform. In order to comply with rail transportation regulations, all easily removable parts of the equipment were dismantled.
AsstrA Services:
1. Transportation via low-bed trailer on the European part of the route.
2. Transshipment to the railway platform.
3. Dismantling of all easily removable equipment parts.
4. Transportation via railway platform on the Asian part of the route.
