Breakbulk Europe, the world’s biggest project cargo industry conference, will take place this year – for the first time in history – in Bremen, Germany, from the 29th to 31st of May. International logistics and transportation group AsstrA-Associated Traffic AG will continue its tradition of participating in this prestigious event and meeting with Partners and colleagues in the breakbulk transportation business.
This year at Breakbulk Europe, AsstrA will be exhibiting at stand number 343. All the event’s guests are welcome to come by and to discuss the latest trends in breakbulk logistics as well as potential collaboration opportunities.
Breakbulk Europe conferences were launched more than 25 years ago and attendee counts have been steadily trending upwards ever since, with a record-high 8,235 industry professionals packing the venue in 2016.
The Port of Bremen is an important logistics hub for the automotive and the offshore wind sectors. Breakbulk cargoes include large machinery, industrial plant components, and steel, which are all regularly transported through the Port of Bremen. Bremen was therefore selected to host this year’s Breakbulk Europe, which had been held in Antwerp for many years.
AsstrA provides a full range of logistics and transport services supporting the international transport of bulky and heavy cargo. Road transport is the most popular option in this segment due to its high speed and relatively low transportation costs. In general, the market for outsized cargo and equipment transportation shows dynamic growth of 5% to 15% per year. AsstrA organizes on-time delivery of any cargo, regardless of its geographical route or destination, by every mode of transport.
