On August 16, 2018, the AsstrA branch in Kazakhstan became a member of the Kazakhstan Association of National Freight Forwarders (ANEK).
ANEK was founded in 1997 and today represents more than 80 national freight forwarding companies. ANEK is the only Kazakh member of the International Federation of Freight Forwarding Associations (FIATA), which unites 150 countries’ national freight forwarding associations and represents their interests in the global freight forwarding market.
ANEK is an accredited expert council member organization of the Kazakhstan Ministry of Investment and Development and a member of NC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy (Kazakhstan Railways) working groups. This allows ANEK members to participate directly in the formation of transport legislation, resolve issues on the elimination of administrative barriers, and develop the freight forwarding business in Kazakhstan.

ANEK coordinates and makes recommendations on a number of laws and legislative acts, such as the law on transport, the law on railway transport, the tax code, the civil code, and other fundamental regulations affecting the transport industry. As an Association member, we will be able to participate in the discussion and lobby for the interests of logistics operators and customers.”
