InnoTrans is one of the world’s most prestigious international transport technology exhibitions. Taking place every two years in the Messe Berlin exhibition complex, it turns the German capital into a real magnet for railway industry representatives from around the world.
This year’s InnoTrans was the largest in history. More than 3,000 exhibitors from 70 countries filled all of the approximately 110,000 square meters of Messe Berlin.
Ilya Klimentenok, AsstrA Strategic Clients Sales Specialist, gives his impressions of the exhibition:
«The exhibition’s interactivity was truly unique. In many open spaces, manufacturers installed tracks where 130 rail cars were put at visitors’ fingertips – literally. Participants were able to touch locomotives, trams, and even compartment cars.
Even though AsstrA has become a regular visitor at InnoTrans over the years, the event still made it possible to meet new potential clients and extend services to new markets for existing clients. We had a comfortable business environment to explore cooperation with some of the largest rail transport manufacturers, e.g. Alstom, Bombardier, and Siemens.
The atmosphere of such a large-scale international event is perfectly suited for discussing ambitious projects and strengthening business relations. Big thanks to the organizers! The event was world-class. See you at Innotrans 2020!»
