The AsstrA corporate group summarizes its HiTech Logistics Division’s results for the first 9 months of 2019.
During the first 9 months of 2019, high-tech products accounted for 6% of AsstrA-Associated Traffic AG shipments and generated 6% of the company's turnover. The turnover from shipping electronics and household appliances during this period amounted to 12.8 million euros.
From January to September 2019, the corporate group transported 185 thousand tons of high-tech products. For the transportation of such goods, AsstrA specialists processed 7 thousand orders, 13% more than in the same period of 2018. By the end of the year, the company plans to process a total of 12 thousand such orders.
Relying on the company’s global network of offices, AsstrA-Associated Traffic AG transports high-tech products along 200 routes around the world. AsstrA’s most popular routes in terms of shipment volume are between Romania - Poland (1233 shipments), Poland - Italy (969), and Poland - Great Britain (548).
So far in 2019, in Russia AsstrA organized 272 high-tech product import shipments from Slovakia, 218 from Poland, and 198 from Italy. Products of this category were exported from Russia mainly to Kazakhstan (384 shipments), Belarus (243), and Moldova (165).
80% of AsstrA’s electronics and household appliance shipments were executed by road, 11% by sea, 6% by rail, and 4% by air.
Information processing machine parts and accessories accounted for 24% of the products shipped. TVs, monitors and projectors accounted for 20%. Air or vacuum pumps, compressors and fans accounted for 10%.
Today, AsstrA-Associated Traffic AG cooperates with leading manufacturers and retailers of household appliances and electronics in Europe and the CIS. AsstrA’s customer base in this industry consists of more than 50 companies with the addition of Philips, Hisense, Panasonic, and Xerox in 2019.
“The transportation of electronics and household appliances involves stringent safety standards. For example, the online tracking of goods along the transport route is one of the key necessary requirements of electronics manufacturers,” says Darya Reshetnyak, Head of the AsstrA HiTech Logistics Division.

This system has become another competitive advantage thanks to which transportation safety and the ability to monitor the movement of goods in real time are ensured.”
