Author's monologues and stories are common in literature and drama. In life, dialogues are the basis of productive relationships, whether for personal or business reasons. It is hard to argue with the concept that “truth is born in a dispute,” insofar as the dispute allows for one to express a point of view, ask questions, and discuss interesting insights.
Experts from AsstrA’s dedicated Wood and Paper Logistics (AWPL) Division welcome all forms of dialogue with clients and partners and look forward to productive communication. The division’s clients benefit from a full range of logistics services related to the transportation of woodworking products and pulp and paper products. AsstrA’s service portfolio includes project logistics for woodworking equipment used to build or modernize industrial facilities.
On September 24, 2019, a seminar entitled “Project Management - Best Practices in a Pulp and Paper Mill” was held in St. Petersburg. The event was organized by Andritz, one of AsstrA Wood and Paper Logistics’ key clients.
Andrej Abramov, Deputy CEO for Project Logistics at AsstrA, gave a presentation at the seminar. The expert's speech was well received by the event’s organizers.
“The seminar’s aim is to encourage a lively dialogue between Andritz customers and suppliers. AsstrA experts answered questions from clients supplying equipment. Particular attention was paid to planning transport for goods, obtaining clearance for them, and actually transporting them,” says Anastasia Zaitseva, Andritz Marketing Specialist.
“We trust the AsstrA team’s professionalism. The company is one of the best logistics partners on the Russian market for strategic, long-term cooperation,” adds Anastasia.
Another industry event at which AsstrA experts made a presentation was the BusinessMission 2019 conference. This event focused on the development of furniture and woodworking product exports. The organizers were the Russian Export Center (REC), The Association of Furniture and Woodworking Enterprises of Russia, and the Kronoshpan Group, another of the AsstrA Wood and Paper Logistics’s key clients taking advantage of the division’s integrated solutions for the woodworking and pulp and paper industry.
“The AsstrA corporate group is an exemplary logistic partner. Therefore, when choosing speakers to cover the topic of cargo transportation, we invited AsstrA representatives. The experts spoke in detail about the characteristics of furniture exports, says Nadezhda Guryeva, Kronoshpan Marketing Specialist.
The nuances of export logistics were studied by Tatyana Goncharenko, Director of AsstrA Russia.
“I thank the organizers – including AsstrA’s key customer, the Kronospan Company – for the invitation to this event. Such meetings are of immense practical use. At BusinessMission 2019, companies engaged in dialogues covering the challenges faced by exporters and several real case studies. AsstrA has gained valuable experience and is ready to share it and offer customers comprehensive solutions,” shares Tatyana Goncharenko.
