On April 15-17, the largest Russian transportation industry event exhibition TransRussia 2019 took place in Moscow. This year the event was attended by more than 400 companies from 28 countries. According to organizers, about 19,000 unique visitors representing both transport and logistics companies as well as industrial and commercial enterprises were registered during the three days of TransRussia. In comparison with last year, the number of visitors increased by 14%, and the exhibition area itself was larger.
The rich business program also drew attention from industry experts. More than 150 speakers and 2,700 delegates took part in the discussions. The main topic of discussion was the introduction of innovations and technologies in the logistics industry. Issues related to the development of transport infrastructure, the creation and operation of special economic zones, the development of transport services for exports, and other topics relevant to the transport and logistics market were also discussed.
The AsstrA-Associated Traffic AG corporate group welcomed visitors to its own stand at the exhibition. A bright design based on the "New Silk Road" concept, a pleasant business atmosphere, and useful consulting from AsstrA experts attracted an impressively large number of guests to the stand.
"The three days of the exhibition were extremely busy and eventful for us. It was the first time I have seen queues for a stand! We held a number of productive discussions outlining ways to further develop cooperation with current and potential customers and partners,. Judging by the this exhibition, interest in the industry is high and AsstrA has great potential for development," remarks Dmitry Lagun, AsstrA-Associated Traffic AG CEO.
Sergey Omelyanyuk, AsstrA CIS Regional Director CIS emphasizes the intensity and quality of the meetings: "Most of the talks were very valuable in that they were constructive rather than exploratory. Specific issues were discussed and resolved."
"As a whole, the exhibition format was great. Live communication and face-to-face discussions always deliver better results than telephone conversations and emails. Accordingly, we are pleased to note extended cooperation with our existing partners as a result of our talks during the event,” says Oleg Grebenko, AsstrA Deputy COO for Specialized Transport.
"This year there was increased interest in railway transportation. Among our stand’s visitors were both end customers and logistics companies. They discussed various issues ranging from the specific nuts and bolts of providing cars to high-level, comprehensive projects. Rail freight is highly competitive with other modes transport and stands out when a cost-effective combination of price, quality, and speed is of paramount importance. AsstrA experts are always ready to offer customers the best logistics solutions," says Andrey Sulla, AsstrA Deputy COO for Rail Freight Transportation.
