The AsstrA team adhered to this principle during an 8-month project involving the delivery of parts for the construction of an oil extraction plant. Transporting everything from Italy to Ukraine required 270 standard and 25 oversized vehicles.
According to Natalya Shemyakina, Deputy COO for Road Freight Transportation at AsstrA, the challenges related not only to a tight deadline but also a lack of Hungarian and Italian transit permits.
“Poorly planned cargo transfers put the project at risk. The corporate group experts promptly corrected the plans and organized the delivery of transport on the indicated dates. The AsstrA team arranged the simultaneous arrival of vehicles, sometimes 4-6 at one time. In order to avoid downtime for the Client and schedule the arrival of machines for quick unloading by crane, AsstrA experts needed to be as punctual as possible.
