"...To each according to his needs" is a phrase around which history’s thinkers and theorists have long debated. This expression describes a model of a just society with optimal production and all needs satisfied.
A century and a half later, humanity continues to search for such an ideal. At the beginning of a new decade of the 21st century, this famous quote could just as well describe a company’s customer focus.
Solutions tailored to specific industries are powerful business offerings. The AsstrA international corporate group has 10 divisions each serving the unique needs of clientele from industries like metallurgy, pharmaceuticals, and automobile manufacturing.

"When an AsstrA Automotive Logistics Department customer asked us if we could handle something we had never done before, our experts’ answer was an unequivocal “Yes!" says Nikolai Krokun, Head of the AsstrA Automotive Logistics Department.
In the fall of 2019, Scania, a Swedish company selling trucks and buses, offered to participate in a project to stretch the fleet on its own. The delivery route runs from St. Petersburg to the Moscow region.
The AsstrA group of companies won the tender for driving vehicles on its own. The project is scheduled to run until August 2020 Every week, AsstrA drivers deliver trucks and special equipment from the manufacturer to Scania dealerships.
For each shipment, the AsstrA team issues CTP and CASCO insurance policies. To drive the gas-powered vehicles, the drivers are required to receive special training and obtain all necessary permits. As of the beginning of the year, AsstrA had shipped 60 units of equipment. There are an average of 5 shipments per week.

"Efficient document flow is critical for the success of the project. The client requires that closing documents be submitted no later than noon the day following the unloading. At first glance, it seems that such a tight timeframe is a test designed to eliminate all but the best transport partner. To fulfill the client's accounting requirement, a working group meeting was held to organize the workflows necessary to provide the transport documents on time. Our efforts have been successful and the client is satisfied,” says Dmitry Naumkin, a Key Account Specialist at AsstrA.
