While clientele of industrial project logistics providers place considerable importance on experience and the ability to execute complex shipments as required in the industrial sector, matters are further complicated by the Covid-19 outbreak that has impacted almost all industries. Even today, in spite of the severe restraints resulting from today’s global situation, the AsstrA Industrial Project Logistics (AIPL) team maintains daily dialogues with the company’s Customers.
Despite the challenging times, upon a loyal Customer’s order, the AsstrA Industrial Project Logistics team in Italy has executed the loading of the first 2 cable drums on mafi from Barcelona, Spain, destined for Naples, Italy. Against some strong competition from key market players, AsstrA placed the winning bid to secure this shipment. Serving such a major industrial Customer was considered a significant business win. It involved the multi-modal delivery of cable drums with a diameter of 4.5 meters via several Ro-Ro short-sea and part-cargo chartered vessels. The project was well executed without complications or incidents.

UPD: In August 2020, AsstrA Industrial Project Logistics experts organized the transportation of the final batch of goods. The cargo was successfully delivered from Spanish Catalonia to a destination in the region of Campania, Italy. This successfully completed project has been added to the team's long track record of safe deliveries.
