In logistics, good partnerships are not only an integral part of business but also an important foundation for developing effective cooperation between companies. The best results come from a win-win approach to partnership. Long-term cooperation based on this approach unites AsstrA-Associated Traffic AG and TransContainer PAO, the largest railway container operator in the Russian Federation.
For 15 years, TransContainer has been a reliable and trusted partner to AsstrA in the field of container freight shipping. Every year, TransContainer expands its network of international representatives and agents. The company also actively contributes to society. The company's management shows ongoing support for Russian athletics, especially handball. Since 2015, Sergey Shishkarev, Chairman of the Board at TransContainer, has been the head of the Handball Federation of Russia. Among the CKSA players supported by TransContainer are the 2016 Olympic champions and the silver medalists at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics.
To celebrate the TransContainer’s 15th year in business, the company organized a formal event for its partners. AsstrA representatives were honored to attend. When congratulating the TransContainer team, Denis Gural, Chief Operating Officer at AsstrA, and Nikolay Rukavishnikov, Deputy Chief Operating Officer for Rail Freight Transportation at AsstrA, presented a commemorative copy of the contract that laid the foundation for the two companies’ partnership.

Fifteen years may not seem like such a long time, but looking back we can notice how much the world has changed in the meantime. You, TransContainer, have achieved a great deal and grown into a container industry leader across Russia, the CIS, Europe, and China,” said Nikolay Rukavishnikov.

The AsstrA team congratulates TransContainer on this anniversary and hopes that the companies will continue accomplishing their shared goals, opening new horizons, and capitalizing on innovative ideas and projects.
