Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is a key component of AsstrA’s long-term development strategy. Most AsstrA CSR initiatives relate to education, communication, health, and environmental protection. As part of a charity event organized by AsstrA-Associated Traffic AG in April and May of this year, Warsaw high school and university students received foreign-language dictionaries of transport industry terms.

AsstrA’s support for schools and universities is in line with the company’s belief in proactivity as the key to successful business. Accordingly, 90 dictionaries with German, Russian, and Polish translations of transport industry terms found their way to the library shelves of  Stanislaw Staszic School Complex No. 10 in Warsaw and the Department of Logistics at the Warsaw School of Economics (SGH).

In March, I gave a short online introduction to logistics for high-schoolers from School Complex No. 10 in Warsaw. The session focused on how to correspond effectively with foreign contractors. We provided the school with foreign-language dictionaries to help students learn logistics industry terms and interact professionally with their future customers,” says Izabela Przyborowska, Human Resources Specialist at AsstrA.
