On July 1, 2021, Sven Matthes has joined the AsstrA-Associated Traffic AG international corporate group as Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Chief Commercial Officer. Mr. Matthes is responsible for AsstrA’s commercial strategy and growth. He is overseeing the group’s Sales and Marketing, Tender Management, and Business Development processes.

While studying at the University of Dresden, Sven Matthes started his logistics career at Lufthansa and then DB Schenker. Upon graduating, he stayed on with DB Schenker as a project manager and advanced into a leadership role with the company’s European Global Project business unit.
