The 5th edition of the annual Jobicon online job fair took place from October 26-27. This year, international transport and logistics company AsstrA-Associated Traffic AG was among the event exhibitors.
Jobicon provides a virtual platform for job-seekers and employers to connect with each other and take advantage of free workshops and presentations delivered by experts in various fields. In this year's edition, the AsstrA-Associated Traffic AG e-stand drew many visitors.
“In total, we received over 100 CVs from prospective candidates, and 120 people signed up for our webinars. Candidates could make appointments to have interviews, receive recruitment advice, and apply for job openings. We ran two virtual workshops: one was called "Your Personal LinkedIn Profile: How to Interest a Recruiter and Become a Job Hunter?” and the other "First Impressions Last! Your first days in a new job: How to Make a Good Impression?” We chose these webinar topics to give a clear signal that from the very beginning we are focused on developing our team members, investing in their knowledge, and helping them define their career paths. We provide a great deal of training and put a lot of emphasis on mentoring,” says Yulia Malezhyk, People & Culture Manager at AsstrA.
“Jobicon is a new stop for us on the job fair map. We missed the face-to-face interactions that we were used to in pre-pandemic times, but we are a global company and perfectly comfortable with the online format. We are pleased with the interest our stand received. We had many valuable conversations with candidates about logistics career paths and specific opportunities to take them with AsstrA,” emphasizes Yulia Malezhyk.
